Hi, I'm Jess, the florist behind Van Weerd Creations.
Van Weerd is my maiden name, and it was the name I was known by when I began my floral journey, so it felt natural to carry into my business.
My love of flowers started long before my own wedding. After 18 years together, my husband and I created a very personal celebration with the help of our families and friends. I created our wedding flowers, while my husband handcrafted many of the special pieces.
That experience inspired me to create Van Weerd Creations- beautiful, affordable wedding flowers using NZ sourced flowers and materials.
Today, I am a Teacher Aide by day and florist by nights & weekends, creating flowers for couples who want their wedding to feel truly like them.
